You’re tired of the sinus pressure. It’s as if you’ve hooked your nose up to an air pump. Your head feels like it’s ready to pop. You’re contemplating taking a sharp object to relieve the sinus pain behind your eyes. You just want to put an end to your suffering, HELP, and dynamite crossed your mind, but there’s a better way of addressing it.
Think Moisture. Your natural state for optimal sinus health is a humid environment. We’re in our homes and offices with the heat or air conditioner drying out the air. We ride in the car with the air conditioning or the heat blowing directly at our face. A majority of our time is spent indoors breathing in dry air which dries our sinuses. Cold weather outdoors can also cause inflammation in the sinuses. Be aware of this drying affect and take action before you get a dry sinus headache or take action when you do feel the symptoms.
Relief for Sinus Congestion and Headaches
By taking simple steps, you can relieve the sinus pressure for Dry sinus headache and sinus congestion:
1). Always have a natural nasal spray on hand, use it a few times a day to relieve dry sinus passages.
2). Use a warm-mist humidifier in the bedroom when the air is dry. You’ll also sleep better and feel more refreshed.
3). Irrigation. Use a pulsatile irrigator during times of sinus congestion and dry sinus headache pain to reduce inflammation, remove irritants and restore the proper ciliary function in your sinuses.
