Sinus Polyps

Nasal Polyps

If the soft tissue lining the mucous membrane (sinuses) becomes swollen, it may fill the available space and can then expand into the nose forming a growth called a polyp. Sinus polyps are shiny gray grape-like nodules and are teardrop-shaped growths. Polyps in the nose are not tumors and are not cancerous. They are a result of inflammation and/or a damaged mucous membrane. They may also be hereditary.

Polyps can swell and block the sinuses function to create congestion, stagnant mucus and heavy mucus build-up. This can lead to an infection and sinusitis. If the inflammation and polyps remain, this can lead to chronic sinusitis and a recurring sinus condition.

Polyp Symptoms:

• Sneezing
• Nasal congestion
• Obstruction
• Post nasal drip (down the back of the throat)
• Facial pain
• Itching around the eyes
• Excessive discharge from the nose
• Loss of smell

Polyp Treatment – the first course of action

1). Nasal polyps usually disappear after a sinus infection subsides.

  • Follow the Dr. Ivker Quick Fix program to eliminate an infection naturally.
  • Practice good nasal hygiene – shown in the Free Silver Member program. The target of this program is to reduce inflammation, sooth the mucous membrane and create an optimal sinus environment.
  • Implement the full program in the Dr. Ivker On-Line Sinus Survival Kit. It addresses the components above and the 10 elements of healthy sinuses.

2). In the rare case where the polyps continue after 90 days of following the On-Line Kit, seek a Respiratory Healer to review your condition. In some cases, removal of the polyps surgically may be the last resort course of action.

Again, the common factor in almost all sinus conditions is acute inflammation. By discovering the numerous underlying factors creating that inflammation, you will have an excellent chance of eliminating a laundry list of symptoms.
